Savanna has submitted plans to the Department of Buildings to construct a 32-story, 170-unit condominium tower at 543 West 122nd Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan.
The new structure is located a block north of Columbia University and just south of Columbia’s $6.8 billion, Manhattanville Campus expansion.
Paying homage to the original name and landowner of Morningside Heights, this condominium will be called Vandewater.
Savanna has hired IINC Architecture & Design as the lead design architect for both the interior and exterior design. They will be working alongside the executive architect of record, SLCE.
Plans for the building include a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom layouts, along with 24,000 s/f of luxury amenities. Halstead Property Development Marketing (HPDM) is handling sales and marketing.
Additional partners include The Seventh Art for branding and creative, The Wright Fit for fitness and Michael Van Valkenburgh for landscape architecture.
