RFR Realty LLC announced a 23,406 s/f lease with Alkeon Capital Management at 350 Madison Avenue.
The registered investment advisor, which was founded in 2002 by Panayotis “Takis” Sparaggis, will relocate and expand from the 9th floor at the building and take the entire 19th and 20th floors.
The long-term lease was negotiated on behalf of RFR by Alexander Chudnoff and Mitchell Konsker leading a leasing team from JLL, and for the tenant by CBRE’s Sinclair Li and Ryan Alexander.
“Leasing momentum at 350 Madison Avenue has been strong,” said Alexander Chudnoff, who together with Mitchell Konsker leads the JLL team serving as exclusive leasing agents for the property.
“This asset’s repositioning has yielded outstanding results, attracting high quality tenants. We’re confident this momentum will continue as tenants tour the building and understand its location and attributes.”
RFR’s renovation of 350 Madison Avenue included the redesign of the building’s two-story, sky-lit lobby.
It includes new interior landscaping, a rotating museum-quality art program currently exhibiting paintings by David Salle and prints by Andy Warhol.
The exterior has a new two-story storefront and entry canopy that provides a strong sense of arrival and prestigious building identity.
Recent leasing activity there includes Bank Leumi USA, which signed for 58,548 square feet; Braemar Energy and Beacon Light Capital, both of which signed for 7,178 square feet; and Certares Management Corp., which signed for 8,304 square feet in the 25-story tower.
