Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) announced that Utah’s leading commercial real estate services firm NAI West, a former affiliate of NAI Global, will do business as Newmark Grubb ACRES effective immediately.
The move gives NGKF a dominant position in one of country’s most active real estate markets and throughout the western United States.
Alles Group Mexico City, one of the largest independent commercial real estate services firms in Mexico City, has also joined the NGKF family, expanding the firm’s presence in Latin America. Effective immediately, the company will do business as Newmark Grubb Mexico City.
“Utah is one of the few states to set a new post-recession employment peak,” said Barry M. Gosin, NGKF chief executive officer. “Its strong and diverse economy led by industries like technology, biomedical and genetic research, manufacturing, energy and mining, presents significant opportunity for our clients.”
As one of the world’s top five metros by population, multinational corporations are increasingly viewing Mexico City as a vital hub for their operations, and development activity across all sectors is strong.
“Mexico City is increasingly in demand by property investors and corporate users of real estate, and it is a key international city that has been underserved with respect to the office and retail sectors,” added Gosin.
“Newmark Grubb Mexico City is a strong local partner that will immediately help us grow our capability in the region.”
