Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) received top honors at the annual Rechler Equity Broker of the Year awards ceremony.
The NGKF Long Island office won for Top Brokerage Firm of the Year and executives of the firm received three out of five transaction awards.
Brian Lee, Scott Berfas and Michael Silver were honored for the Top Office Deal, a new lease with Gemini Fund Services and the first major transaction signed at 80 Arkay Drive following Rechler Equity’s purchase.
Chuck Tabone, SIOR, was rewarded with the Top R&D award for the Sensitron Semiconductor deal at 100 Engineers Lane in Hauppauge, N.Y.
According to Tabone, this was a very involved transaction with a substantial and complex construction component for this high-tech manufacturer.
Jack O’Connor, Howard Kesseler and Jordan Gosin were recognized with the Top Disposition award, which involved the sale of 385 Gerard Avenue in the Bronx to Public Storage.
“Rechler Equity is one of Long Island’s premier owners and the Long Island office of NGKF is appreciative and proud to have been recognized by this fine organization. It was a great night for our office,” said Tabone.
