Condo tower rising on the East End
Corigin Real Estate Group, along with its partner Florida East Coast Realty, announced that first floor construction is complete at 20 East End Avenue, a condo building designed by Robert A.M. Stern.
The 18-story development at the corner of 80th Street and East End Avenue, will offer 43 personally crafted residences.
Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is exclusively handling the marketing and sales for the project, which is slated to be complete by Summer 2016.
“Construction is well underway at 20 East End Avenue, a boutique building that will offer a sophisticated, social and exclusive club-like environment,” said Edward Baquero, president of Corigin Real Estate Group.
“20 East End Avenue features unique amenity spaces designed to be a proper extension of one’s home, finished with the highest level of residential detailing. Every facet of the building is custom designed or hand-selected by Mr. Stern.”
The residences at 20 East End Avenue consist of two- to six-bedroom homes including three duplex townhouses with cellars and two penthouses at the top.
Many of the residences feature direct elevator entry. The prices range from $4.5 to $35 million.
“More than 30 percent of the residences at 20 East End Avenue are already under contract since sales launched in mid-January,” commented Pamela Liebman, president and CEO of Corcoran.
“Buyers are drawn to the building’s quality and level of finishes, unique amenity spaces and its location on East End Avenue, a true residential enclave on the Upper East Side.”

New Enclave in Morningside
The Brodsky Organization has topped out Enclave at the Cathedral, two rental towers on the grounds of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine at 400 West 113th Street.
The Handel Architects designed 15-story buildings will add 430 homes to the Morningside Heights neighborhood.
“As more New Yorkers are drawn to Morningside Heights, the area appealed to The Brodsky Organization as a growing neighborhood with an increased demand for new housing options,” said Thomas Brodsky, a principal at The Brodsky Organization.
The development was specially designed to draw residents together, with ample amenity spaces inside and outside both towers. The western tower will feature studio, one- and two-bedroom residences, while the eastern tower will feature one- and two-bedroom residences.
Enclave at the Cathedral is expected to be complete in late 2015.

GRADE tapped for Chelsea boutique
New York-based design firm, GRADE, has been selected by David Amirian of The Amirian Group to spearhead both the architecture and interior design for 117 West 21st Street, a new luxury residential real estate project in Chelsea.
The residential conversion entails an extensive renovation and redesign of the four-story commercial structure, transforming 38,612 buildable square feet into six full-floor units, two duplex penthouses and one townhouse unit.
“Our firm is delighted to be working with The Amirian Group on both the interior and exterior renovation for 117 West Street,” said Thomas Hickey, AIA, founding partner at GRADE.
“This redevelopment will offer unique, boutique residences in a burgeoning neighborhood that has provided the inspiration for our design; personal, meaningful and modern.”
Amenities for 117 West 21st Street will include a doorman, storage, and five on-site parking spots.
Andrew Azoulay and Jason Amirian of Douglas Elliman will be leading the Sales and Marketing.
● Two Trees Management
Walentas estate sales launched
Brown Harris Stevens, the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, just launched 12 new estates on Two Trees Lane in Bridgehampton.
Located beside Two Trees Farm, the 115-acre property is well-known as the longtime home of Bridgehampton Polo Club.
The project’s developer, David Walentas, founder of Two Trees Management Company, is widely regarded for transforming Dumbo from a deserted waterfront to the sought-after community it is today.
Of the 12 properties, 11 homes range from 1.8 acres to more than three acres of property, and one home offers 9.7 acres of open space and farm views.
Fleetwood & McMullan Architects will design three of the first four houses.
For the fourth house, architect Eric Woodard has been retained.
Each estate home will feature a grand formal living room with a central masonry fireplace and French doors that lead to outdoor terraces.
Amenities will include an elevator, finished lower level, attached heated three-car garage, and landscaped grounds with a tennis court and heated pool.

Affordable luxury on UES
A newly-designed model home is open at Three Thirty Seven East Sixty Second.
The property is owned and developed by Yeung Real Estate Development and is being exclusively marketed by Tamir Shemesh and The Shemesh Team of The Corcoran Group.
