Capital solutions firm AmeriMerchant has upgraded at Cohen Brothers’ 475 Park Avenue South, a midtown tower currently under renovation.
AmeriMerchant, a firm founded in 2002 that provides merchant cash advances, business loans and inventory purchase programs to small and medium-sized businesses, is headquarted at 475 Park Avenue South, in Murray Hill, and has offices in San Francisco.
It is adding 4,000 s/f to its total office space at 475 Park to facilitate future staff expansion by 10 percent in the next several months.
The company moved from its 12,000 s/f space on the 16th floor to the 11th floor, which totals 16,000 s/f.
Amerimerchant worked with brokers Robert Goodman, Michael Joseph and Richard Plehn of Colliers International on the deal.
“The most important assets of AmeriMerchant is our employees,” said David Goldin, CEO of AmeriMerchant in a press release. “It was therefore our main goal to inconvenience them the least. We also believe this building, once construction is finished, will be the class of this area with a new lobby, upgraded elevators and a new shell. The building will be beautiful and efficient.”
Designer Rori Goldin worked with TPG Architecture to design the new space, which features video conferencing, video boards and energy-efficient lights with sensors.
The class-A 35-story office tower has an underground parking garage and a subway entrance at the base of the building.
