Massey Knakal Realty Services announced the expansion of its Manhattan office at 275 Madison Avenue.
The firm will now occupy the entire base of RFR Realty’s Class-A, Art Deco landmark building on floors 2, 3 and 4 for a total of 40,738 s/f plus future expansion rights.
“We’re delighted to continue our relationship with RFR as we expand our flagship location. RFR has been an excellent landlord for the last 10 years and we’re looking forward to many more years together,” said CEO Paul J. Massey Jr.
“This fifteen year lease will accommodate the explosive growth Massey Knakal is experiencing across our three service lines – capital services, investment sales and retail leasing. ”
Massey Knakal was represented in the transaction by Bill Montana, Kurt Handschumacher and Howard Poretsky of Savills Studley. “We enjoy a close relationship with Massey Knakal and are very pleased to help them secure contiguous space for their long term growth,” said Montana.
The landlord, RFR Realty was represented in house by Oliver Katcher and Gregg Popkin. Massey Knakal’s legal counsel was Brian M. Cohen and Cristiana Addy of Foley & Lardner. RFR’s legal counsel was Randy Amengual and Ann Ryan of Katsky Korins.
