At a Taste of Two Forks on Saturday, July 18 in Sayre Park, Food Network star Katie Lee and Michael Symon, star of ABC’s The Chew, will host a sampling from the very best from Top Chefs, Great Winemakers and over 40 of the finest restaurants from the North and South Forks.
Finally, showcasing the wines of more than 40 East End winemakers, the dishes of 30+ top regional chefs and the foodcraft of local purveyors is Harvest East End.
Hosted by Geoffrey Zakarian, the celebration — which benefits local regional charities — will be held on Saturday, August 22 at McCall Vineyard and Ranch in Cutchogue, NY from 7:30 –10 p.m.

New York State Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal has introduced a bill to extend the protections of New York State’s Clean Indoor Air Act to include e-cigarettes.
The Clean Indoor Air Act protects New Yorkers against exposure to second-hand smoke from traditional tobacco products in office buildings, restaurants, bars and other public spaces.
E-cigarettes have exploded in popularity since they first hit the scene several years ago.
“Though we are still learning about e-cigarettes, what we do know should give us pause,” said Rosenthal.
“It’s especially critical that we take action to regulate e-cigarettes given the explosion in use among young people. E-cigarettes are quickly becoming the gateway for young people into a life of smoking. This must stop.”
More than 60% of all counties in New York State have already passed local laws to ban the practice.
“New York must not take a wait and see approach. It’s critical that the state take broad action to shield the public from the unwanted intrusion of e-cigarette vapor,” said Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal. “The patchwork of legislation that currently exists makes enforcement more difficult and leaves more 40% of the state’s residents in danger.”
