EVO Real Estate is on the move.

The former Winoker Realty, under new leadership and with a new name after founder David Winoker died in a skydiving accident last year, is “making a concerted effort to embrace new types of tenants and find the best deals in the best neighborhoods,” according to Dana Moskowitz, EVO’s president.

The firm recently announced a flurry of deals in Manhattan neighborhoods outside its traditional Garment District focus.

Among the highlights: EVO’s Barry Bernstein and Evan Lieberman worked with Scott Bloom, of Bloom Industry, on Alok Industries’ 18,000 s/f lease at 105 Madison Avenue in NoMad. The home textile company will take possession at the end of 2013 for a ten-year term. The landlord was represented by Paul Davidson and Michael Frantz of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

In the Plaza District, EVO represented HC Wainwright, an investment bank, in a two-year sublease of the entire 16,400 s/f fourth floor at 430 Park Ave.

EVO’s new geographic reach is accompanied by additional service lines, as the 23-broker firm moves to establish itself as a full-service real estate company.

In addition to representing office and showroom tenants, the firm offers property management and commercial co-op and investment sales services. A dedicated retail division is coming soon, Moskowitz told Real Estate Weekly.

“The platform was a really solid one, but it was a little static,” she said.

EVO announced last week that it will relocate in April to 1430 Broadway, where its new full-floor offices will offer an additional 4,000 s/f of room for the firm.

“We’re looking at smart growth,” Moskowitz said. “And what I mean is we want to be a vibrant company where everything we’re doing is purposeful and we aren’t too big that we’re not able to provide the level of personal service the firm always has.”
