Benjamin Lambert, chairman and CEO of commercial real estate brokerage and bank Eastdil Secured, has sold his Upper East Side townhouse at 69 East 82nd Street for $10.4 million, according to city records.

The buyers were W. Dexter Paine III, partner of California-based private equity firm Paine & Partners, and Susan Paine. In January, W. Dexter Paine III sold a two-bedroom apartment at the Sherry-Netherland for $4.495 million, according to the Observer.

The 20-foot townhouse is 6,400 s/f and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. According to Streeteasy, it was originally listed for $13 million in April 2010, and then $12.1 million in September 2010.

Stribling & Associates’ Cornelia Zagat Eland, Alexa Lambert, Emily Hanna and Marc Achilles were the brokers.

“It was in very good condition,” said Eland. “It has a lovely backyard.”
