Adams & Co. Real Estate brokered a 16,881 s/f lease at the Children’s Wear Center, 34 West 33rd St., for Cutie Pie Baby, Inc.

The company will occupy the entire fifth floor space. Headquartered in New York City, Cutie Pie Baby has been selling clothes for newborns and infants for 25 years. The company’s labels include babyGEAR, Cutie Pie, Rugged Bear, Beverly Hills Polo and Liz Lange.Corporate clients include Babies “R” Us, Amazon.com, Bed Bath & Beyond, Boscov’s, Nordstrom and Macys.com.

After two acquisitions in the past year, the company is moving from a 9,000 s/f space on 9th floor of the same building to accommodate its growth. The new space will be used for an office and showroom.

David Levy of Adams & Co. represented the landlord and the tenant in the transaction. Although details of the transaction were not disclosed, the asking rent for the space was $37 psf.

“Cutie Pie Baby is growing rapidly but didn’t want to leave the specialty building, so they chose to stay in the same building,” said Levy. “The new space keeps the company among other like-minded tenants for the long-term as they continue to expand and hire more employees.”

Built in 1908, this 12-story, 158,196 s/f building boasts 24-hour infrared key access. Notable tenants include Bentex Group, Inc., Baby Fair, Wiesner Products and Charlie Rocket, with retail tenant European Optical and Konyo Books.Met vendreet, quiscid uisisismod dolore feumsan
