CoreNet NYC’s Women’s Leadership Committee is pleased to announce the 10-year celebration of the New York City Mentorship Program with a special event at the AllSteel Showroom on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
“We are excited to celebrate the milestone 10-year anniversary of the New York City Mentorship Program,” said Larry Charlip, CoreNet NYC Chapter President. “This program has truly made a tremendous impact in the lives of so many in this industry, helping to grow their professional careers, across all stages. It also showcases the chapter’s continued commitment to diversity and inclusion for all CoreNet professionals. I look forward to the continued success of this mentorship program and seeing the future impact participants will have on NYC and throughout
our industry.”
The program is open to all members and is a true embodiment of the commitment the CoreNet NYC Chapter has in assisting corporate real estate professionals in their professional growth and development.
Over the past 10 years, the mentorship program has connected 248 real estate professionals. These professionals are in all stages of their careers and have participated as either mentors or mentees.
This special event will also recognize this year’s graduating cohort. They started the program in September 2022 and were paired based on professional goals and interests. They were required to meet informally at least once a month. Plus, the committee hosted virtual and in-person gatherings for everyone in the program throughout the ninemonth period. In these sessions, mentees and mentors discussed growth, challenges and provided feedback.
