Compass will mark its third Brooklyn location with the launch of a new Cobble Hill office at 212 Court Street.
With interiors by Vocon, the new space, slated to open in early 2017, will encompass 1,600 s/f on the ground floor along the corner of Court and Warren Streets.
“With our new presence in Cobble Hill, Compass will further support the needs of our growing Brooklyn agent family and expand services for our clients,” said Patrick Brennan, Sales Manager of Compass’ Cobble Hill, Williamsburg, and Park Slope locations.
Previously home to The Community Bookstore, 212 Court Street was once a neighborhood shop that for three decades sold vintage literary works before the owner decided to shutter business last year.
The property was leased from Dr. David Sitt on behalf of 212 Court Realty. Compass agent Jake Velasquez represented his firm in the deal.
Compass’ Brooklyn operation launched last year, and now has more than 50 agents who specialize in the borough.
