ABS Partners secured a 7,500 s/f lease at The Bushwick Generator for CartoDB, a cloud-based mapping, analysis and visualization engine that lets users build mobile and web applications.
The deal marks the first lease for one of the pre-built spaces at the 100,000 s/f warehouse conversion project, located at 215 Moore Street in Bushwick.
The Brooklyn project is being developed by Toby Moskovits’ Heritage Equity Partners and the Lichtenstein Group.
The Bushwick Generator is a former steel fabrication warehouse consisting of four interconnected buildings.
The property, which was purchased in 2014 as part of a 2.3-acre block by Heritage Equity Partners and the Lichtenstein Group, offers office and retail spaces ranging from 1,500 to 100,000 s/f. Asking rents in the two-story building start at $50 per square foot.
“As the daughter of an immigrant who started a family business in Williamsburg in the 1970s, I am proud to be a part of the economic resurgence in the borough of Brooklyn,” Moskovits said.
“We will continue to work with high-growth companies that are eager to tap into the talent, energy, and drive unique to this borough.”
