Brookfield Property Partners announced that Rauxa, the largest woman-owned independent advertising agency, will expand and relocate its New York operations to 225 Liberty Street at Brookfield Place New York in Lower Manhattan.
Rauxa has signed a 50,000 s/f, 11-year lease at the Class A, 2.67 million-square-foot office tower.
The agency will relocate its New York office from SoHo.
JLL represented the building owner and the tenant in the transaction. Brookfield Properties was represented by JLL Vice Chairman Paul Glickman, JLL Managing Director John Wheeler, JLL Managing Director Michael Berman and JLL Executive Vice President Clayton Kline.
Rauxa was represented by JLL Managing Director Steven Rotter, JLL Associate Vice President Justin Haber, and Transtar Real Estate President and CEO Richard Miller. The JLL team worked closely with Brookfield Properties Executive Vice President Jeremiah Larkin and Vice President David McBride.
