Lloyd Goldman’s BLDG Management has purchased 102 Greene Street in SoHo for $11.9 million.
The three-story, 7,000 s/f building’s 2,000 s/f retail portion is occupied by shoe store Galeria Melissa, and Goldman will convert the two upper floors and a setback penthouse to condominiums, sources familiar with the deal said.
Anthony Coll and Brendan Quinlan of Charles Rutenberg represented the undisclosed seller; Quinlan confirmed the sale price but declined to identify the seller or comment further.
The seller, listed as “102 Greene Street Realty LLC” purchased the property for $9.125 million in Dec. 2006, city records show.
The same seller sold 401 and 403 Greenwich Street in Tribeca earlier this year, a source said; the properties sold for $10 million and $6.1 million, respectively, city records show.
Earlier this year, BLDG Management acquired a two-story commercial property at 888 Lexington Ave. for $13.25 million from Allen Rosenberg’s Alrose Group, city records show.
The company was not available for comment.
