RFR Realty LLC announced that Berkley Insurance Company has signed a lease to expand its office space at 375 Park Avenue by 4,818 s/f, for a total of 12,635 s/f in the building.
Berkley Insurance, the principal reinsurance subsidiary of the W.R. Berkley insurance firm, leased office space at 375 Park Avenue in September 2014 to house its senior leadership, and is now expanding its footprint.
In addition to its offices at 375 Park Avenue, Berkley Insurance occupies space in RFR’s Stamford, CT portfolio.
“Berkley Insurance is a valued tenant of RFR, with significant presence in our properties in New York and Connecticut,” said AJ Camhi, senior vice president of RFR. “We’re pleased to continue and expand upon this excellent relationship.”
Camhi represented RFR in-house, along with a leasing team led by Mitchell E. Konsker and Matthew Astrachan from JLL. Jeffrey Sussman of Property Group Partners represented Berkley.
Other recent leasing activity at 375 Park Avenue includes Centerbridge Partners’ 46,571 s/f renewal, a new lease by Fiera Capital for 26,060 s/f, and a 5,770 s/f expansion by Winton Capital.
