HSBC bank has leased 2,864 s/f on the ground floor at 250 West 57th Street.
The Empire State Realty Trust-owned space is opposite the new Nordstrom flagship store, slated for a 2018 opening.
“Our fantastic location on billionaires’ row … appealed to HSBC,” said Thomas P. Durels, ESRT’s executive vice president, noting 4,669 s/f of retail remains available.
Craig Slosberg of JLL represented HSBC in the lease negotiations. Landlord representation was provided by Fred C. Posniak of Empire State Realty Trust, along with Joanne Podell and Ian Lerner of Cushman & Wakefield.
