Eastern Consolidated has arranged a 1,100 s/f lease for modern, French crepes chain By Suzette at 494 Eighth Avenue.
Situated at the base of the 23-story office building on the corner of West 35th Street, this retail space — comprised of 750 s/f on the ground floor and 350 s/f on the mezzanine level — will serve as By Suzette’s flagship store and second New York City location, complementing its first in Tribeca.
“By Suzette is a quality concept, which has had great success downtown since its inception last year,” said Brad Cohen, Senior Director for the Retail Leasing Division at Eastern Consolidated, who along with Associate Director Jon Kamali exclusively represented ownership in the transaction.
The last remaining retail space at the property is comprised of 650 s/f on the ground floor plus storage in the basement. Asking rent for the available unit is $450 per square foot.
David Tordjman, of Norman Bobrow & Co, Inc. represented the tenant in the transaction.
