Joan’s Legacy: Uniting Against Lung Cancer (UALC) marked its 12th year of funding innovative lung cancer research by raising more than $1.4 million at its signature gala event, the “Strolling Supper with Blues and News.” On Wednesday, November 12, 750 guests gathered at Gotham Hall in Manhattan to support the efforts of the partners and doctors who have tirelessly raised awareness and pursued a cure for the nation’s deadliest cancer. The Strolling Supper is the largest event marking Lung Cancer Awareness month in New York, highlighting the need for research, funding, and awareness to combat the nation’s number one cancer killer.
