CNN’s Anderson Cooper has drastically reduced the price on one of the Quiogue properties that he put on the market this summer.
Reports indicate that the media correspondent’s five-bedroom at 12 St. George Place is now being listed at $2.58 million, a 13 percent drop.
The Hamptons home commands 2,400 s/f on a 2.4 acre plot next to Aspatuck Creek. It is currently being listed by Douglas Elliman’s Enzo Morabito, Aimee Martin and Timothy Morabito.
This is not Cooper’s only real estate transaction in recent years, as he parted ways with his 3,100 s/f penthouse at the Wheeler Building in Manhattan in 2012 for $3.8 million.

Corcoran is launching a new marketing campaign featuring a series of portraits of talented individuals by world-renowned photographer, Annie Leibovitz.
The Corcoran campaign is notable because of Leibovitz’s powerful portraits of people photographed in their own homes, and because the campaign communicates the Corcoran brand message “Live Who You Are” and the very personal and emotional connection people have with their homes.
The photos include a portrait of writer Andrew Solomon & John Habich Solomon and Son in their Greenwich Village townhouse; Tyson Chandler, the professional basketball player and his family, in their Upper East Side home; singer/songwriter/author Jimmy Buffett at his Palm Beach home; and Christina Tosi, the chef/owner of Milk Bar (part of the Momofuku empire) in her Williamsburg home.
