Kraft & Kennedy, a prominent technology and strategic consulting firm, is “plugging in” to new a headquarters space in Midtown East.

The company, which provides business and IT services to law firms, corporate legal departments and financial services firms, has signed a 15-year, 10,224 s/f lease comprising the entire 14th floor at ATCO Properties & Management’s 630 Third Avenue, the owner/manager’s 23-story boutique office building at the southeast corner of East 41st Street.

Kraft & Kennedy will be moving from 360 Lexington Avenue to temporary “swing” space in September and into its permanent offices at 630 Third Avenue in mid-December 2013.  The firm also recently opened a new office in Washington, DC.

“As Kraft & Kennedy continues its strong local presence in New York City, we’re proud to welcome this well-known leader in the tech industry to 630 Third Avenue,” said Kate Goodman, ATCO’s co-president, who noted that only two spaces of 2,587 and 4,244 s/f remain available for lease in the building.

Arthur J. Draznin, executive managing director, and Hunter Berman, associate of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the building’s ownership in the long-term transaction, while Patrick Heeg, executive vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle, and Amy Sykes, senior vice president of the Pyne Companies Ltd., represented the tenant.

Kraft & Kennedy will be joining a roster of tenants at 630 Third Avenue including financial public relations giant Sard Verbinnen & Co., law firm Cox Padmore Skolnik & Shakarchy Inc., Private Label Manufacturers Association and Commonwealth Land Title.

A LEED-EBOM Silver certified office building, 630 Third Avenue features a newly-designed lobby, new windows, new elevators, state-of-the-art security cameras, upgraded mechanical systems and a 24-hour security staff. It is situated between Grand Central Terminal and the United Nations.
