Brown Harris Stevens announced that executive vice president, managing director of sales Nicholas Palance has been named sales manager of the Park Slope office located at 100 Seventh Avenue.

Palance’s responsibilities will include overseeing all facets of the office.
During his first year at the firm, Palance was named Brown Harris Stevens Rookie of the Year and has been a regular recipient of the Most New Deals award. In 2012, he was awarded the “Deal of the Year” by The Real Estate Board of New York.

Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2007, Palance worked as a financial analyst in the music industry servicing the accounts of Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, and Norah Jones, and was ultimately promoted to handle the entire Capital Records repertoire and Beatles catalogue.

BOND New York has hired Stacey Max as managing sales director of the firm’s Chelsea office.

She will be responsible for coaching, training, advising, and cheering for the agents of BOND’s Chelsea office.

At BOND, all of the managing sales directors work together as a team to manage the entire BOND sales force.

Max joins BOND New York with over 16 years of real estate experience at Bellmarc Realty, where she started as a sales associate and was appointed to the position of sales manager of that firm’s Greenwich Village office in 2004.

She studied hotel administration at Cornell University.

Alex Cho has joined Citi Habitats as a senior managing director. He will spearhead the Relocation office’s rental division and assist agents with everything from marketing listings and attracting clientele, to helping them close transactions quickly and correctly.

Cho previously worked for the brokerage firm MNS since 2005, most recently as the managing director of their Chelsea office. Prior to joining their corporate team, he was a leading agent at the company.

During his eight years at MNS, he was consistently named top listing agent and top rental agent.

In addition, Seth Hirschhorn, a senior managing director and a 12 year veteran of Citi Habitats, has been promoted to oversee the entire Relocation division by supervising day-to-day operations of the office.

He is responsible for helping his agents grow their careers, increasing overall revenue, agent recruiting, and will continue to assist and advise agents with sales transactions.

Miron Properties has hired Denise Salizzoni as director of landlord services.

She comes to Miron Properties with over 25 years of Manhattan real estate experience, formerly as a senior vice president of A.C. Lawrence Real Estate where she worked with agents and assisted in hiring and training, as well as building relationships with landlords.

Before that, Salizzoni served in several key roles in the development and management of a number of firms, including Century 21 NY Metro and Manhattan Apartments.
