The CBRE Long Island team of Vincent LaManna and Richard Freel represented REGUS, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace in a 16,500 s/f office lease on a portion of the fifth floor at 70 East Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream, NY.
The space represents REGUS’ eighth office suites location in Long Island and demonstrates the company’s initiative to further expand its presence in the region.
LaManna and Freel worked with REGUS to identify demographically appropriate locations for Regus’ expansion, and chose 70 East Sunrise to negotiate the long-term lease with the ownership, SEROTA Properties’ agent Rob Seidenberg and Ralph Guiffre, also of CBRE.
Formerly built out as medical office and lab facilities for HIP Health, the entire fifth floor has been demolished and will be transformed into top-of-the-line suites with conference and meeting facilities.
“South Western Nassau County was the first submarket we targeted for Regus’ expansion and 70 East Sunrise was the only property able to provide the first class office environment that the Regus brand is known for,” said LaManna.
