Sabre Real Estate Group LLC, the metropolitan region’s newest retail brokerage, has arranged a lease in Commack, N.Y. for Savers, the largest privately held thrift-store chain in North America.
Savers, based in Bellevue, Wash., will occupy the 19,000 s/f, freestanding retail site at 755 Larkfield Rd., formerly occupied by Sixth Avenue Electronics. An opening date has not been announced.

Beth Lamport, an executive vice president of Sabre, and Doug Bomzer, a senior director, represented the landlord, Allied Properties. Katz & Associates represented the tenant.
Founded in 1954, Savers, Inc. is a privately held thrift store chain that operates nearly 300 stores across the United States, Canada and Australia.
Savers provides essential funding to more than 140 nonprofit organizations; low-cost and high quality goods to consumers; and benefits to the environment through the reuse and recycling of used items.
