The Corcoran Group’s President and CEO Pamela Liebman was honored by the Randall’s Island Sports Foundation at their 2012 Fielding Dreams NYC gala held on Thursday, March 15th at Skylight SoHo, NYC.

Liebman was honored for her commitment to Randall’s Island Park and bettering children’s lives in New York City.  A mother of two who is dedicated to advancing the wellbeing of children through her support of a number of charitable and humanitarian organizations,  Liebman has been a dedicated supporter of the Randall’s Island Foundation’s mission and its wonderful programs benefiting the children of the City of New York.

Liebman was introduced by James Lipton, host of Inside the Actors Studio, in front of a high-profile crowd of nearly 500 philanthropists, city officials and heads of industry.

The evening was hosted by Willie Geist, co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. New York Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez was also honored.  Previous honorees have included Loews Corporation Chairman Andrew Tisch and Yankees star players Robinson Cano and Mariano Rivera, to name a few.

“The Randall’s Island restoration is one of New York City’s greatest resources.  It benefits all New Yorkers, especially the thousands of the city’s children who get to go outdoors and have fun while learning to play any number of sports at a world class facility,” saidLiebman.  “The experiences Randall’s Island offers children are priceless and contribute to their development in many positive ways, nourishing our children and making New York City a better place to live.”

The Foundation’s efforts to revitalize Randall’s Island include developing recreational facilities and sponsoring a diversity of programs for the children of New York City.
