Over 1,000 guests gathered at Newport Green in Jersey City for a beach party and food festival last month. Party goers had the chance to sample dishes from Newport’s 14 restaurants – including Skylark on the Hudson, Babo Teahouse, Raaz, Boca Grande and Michael Anthony’s – and enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline from the neighborhood’s recently opened urban beach.
