A new Powerhouse Gym has opened at 30-30 Northern Blvd in Long Island City, the company’s first in the neighborhood.
Powerhouse Gym occupies more than 10,000 s/f of space on the ground floor of the property, known as the Apple Building.
The eight-story, 213,000 s/f commercial building is helping to fuel the growth of one of the city’s most up-and-coming neighborhoods.
Developed by Alma Realty, the LEED certified building offers bicycle racks to encourage employees to cycle to work, LED motion sensor lighting , office terraces and a roof deck. “Alma Realty is betting on the future of Queens and of a neighborhood where we live and work,” said Efstathios Valiotis, principal of the Queens-based, family owned realty firm.
