Danielle Winick is set to host the Third Annual Evening of Smiles on Saturday, August 20 at Southampton’s Axe Lounge at Dune. The daughter of Winick Realty boss Jeff Winick, Danielle has been heavily-involved in Operation Smile for the past four years.

The non-profit organization provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe.
Danielle, 17, planned the first annual Evening of Smiles at Southampton’s Day & Night Club, as well as last year’s event at RDV, which raised more than $150,000.
Proceeds from past Evening of Smiles events have gone to Operation Smile missions in Vietnam and Bolivia and Danielle got to visit both missions to see first-hand the difference Operation Smile makes in the lives of children with facial deformities. (For footage of her trip to Vietnam, visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_kEDaU82VY)
This year, she is hoping smash previous fundraising totals with all aspects of the event either underwritten or donated so that 100 % of the money raised from ticket sales, auction items and donations will go directly to Operation Smile.
Already Danielle has rallied the support of several major sponsors, including her dad’s firm, Columbus Square, The Moinian Group, Mohegan Sun, Southern Wine & Spirits of New York, Invite Health, QuickparkImperial Bag and Paper Co. LLC, Hamptons Magazine and Modell’s Sporting Goods.
The Third Annual Evening of Smiles will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and desserts from local sponsors, as well as entertainment and a live specialty auction.
It will take place on Saturday, August 20 at Southampton’s Axe Lounge, 1181 North Sea Road. To find out more, log onto www.operationsmile.org/2011eveningofsmiles
