Elizabeth Sample of Sotheby’s just sold a three-bedroom beauty in the sought-after Chatham Condominium for $8.7 million.

Three-bedroom, four-bath apartment overlooks Central Park from the living and dining rooms, library and master bedroom suite.

Developed by related with architects Robert A.M. Stern and Ismael Leyva, sales are rare in the 92-unit luxury building which has an Equinox gym and garage.
Fox Residential broker Marcia Roma brought in the buyer, an LLC, according to city records.

According to Roma: “The buyer needed more space and wanted to stay in The Chatham where he was living in a smaller apartment. This apartment, on a higher floor, gave him amazing views, more space and superb light.”

The apartment was listed for six weeks at an asking price of $9,450,000.
