Auditing firm KPMG is expanding at SL Green’s 1350 Avenue of the Americas.
The company signed a ten-year, 19,517 s/f lease to take the entire 11th floor in the building. The deal increases KPMG’s footprint in the office tower to 111,995 s/f across five floors.
“We were delighted to work with KPMG in providing space for its continued growth,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing and real property for SL Green. “The transaction required consolidation of multiple tenant spaces including the relocation of two tenants within the building.”
The 33-story tower, located on the southeast corner of West 55th Street in the Plaza District, is home to the famous “Love” sculpture by American artist Robert Indiana. It is currently undergoing renovations. According to SL Green, the building’s new lobby is expected to be completed soon.
CBRE’s Patrick Murphy and Jamie Dennison represented KPMG. Meanwhile, Howard Tenenbaum and Gary Rosen represented SL Green in-house.
