United Talent Agency signs 45,000 s/f lease at Vornadoʼs 888 Seventh Avenue

Talent and literary agency UTA has signed a new long-term lease at Vornado Realty Trust’s 888 Seventh Avenue to build a new NYC headquarters.

UTA will occupy the entire seventh floor and portions of the eighth and ninth floors at 888 Seventh Avenue, which is located between West 56th and West 57th Streets, a few blocks from Central Park and Columbus Circle.

The agency currently occupies approximately 15,000 s/f at the office building, occupying portions of the sixth floor, the ninth floor and the 11th floor. It plans to move in at year’s end following construction.

UTA will continue to operate from its worldwide headquarters in Beverly Hills. In addition to Beverly Hills and New York, UTA has also offices in London, Nashville, Toronto, Miami and Malmo, Sweden.

The new space in 888 Seventh Avenue will consolidate all of UTA’s agents, executives and staff that have been working from UTA’s existing office in 888 Seventh Avenue as well as the Bienstock offices at 250 West 57th Street and The Agency Group offices at 142 West 57th Street.

UTA was represented by Mitchell Konsker and Alexander Chudnoff, Vice Chairmen, and Benjamin Bass, Vice President, of JLL. Building owner Vornado Realty

Trust was represented in-house by Jared Solomon, Vice President.
The 46-story 888 Seventh Avenue was designed by Emery Roth & Sons and completed in 1971. Vornado t completed a full modernization in 2010.
